‘They’re so lucky to have you,’ Meghan Markle said of husband Prince Harry in a touching pic she posted of him and their two children Archie and Lilibet on Father’s Day

Meghan Markle shared a moving tribute to “our one and only” Prince Harry on Father’s Day.

The Duchess of Sussex, 44, posted a sweet snap of a smiling Harry, 41 hugging, their two children Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, on her Instagram account. “They’re so lucky to have you,” Meghan gushed, adding “We all are… Happy Father’s Day to our one and only.”

Meghan often shares pictures of her family, which now resides in the plush celebrity haunt of Montecito in California after the Sussexes stepped back from royal life amid their feud with The Firm. Pictures of the children’s faces are usually obscured, but the snaps are often sweet, showing the youngsters playing and having fun.

Harry and Meghan are set to visit the UK next month with Archie and Lilibet in what is their first trip to the UK as a family in four years. The children last saw their grandfather the King in person at the time of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022. It is not yet known whether the King will meet his youngest grandchildren during their stay.

The couple is returning to attend celebrations marking the one-year countdown to next year’s Invictus Games in Birmingham, according to reports. Harry last reunited with Charles, who is still undergoing treatment for cancer, last September for the first time in 19 months.

When the duke lost a Court of Appeal challenge against the Home Office over his security arrangements while in the UK in 2025, he expressed hopes of a reconciliation with his family, claiming that Charles would not speak to him because of his court battle over his security.

Harry added he “can’t see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the UK”. Harry previously claimed Charles was jealous of Meghan and Kate, did not hug him when he told him his mother Diana, Princess of Wales had died, and said he believed the King was “never made” for single parenthood, but “to be fair, he tried”.

Recent reports suggest Harry and Meghan have been offered royal accommodation for their visit. Previously, Harry reportedly turned down the chance to stay at Buckingham Palace amid security concerns over the building’s high-profile nature. It is not clear which royal residence has been offered to Harry and Meghan for their stay next month, their first family trip to Blighty in four years.

The duke has reportedly been assured that adequate security provisions will be in place for the trip. The BBC reported that the Sussexes have not yet responded to the offer. The Palace previously declined to comment when approached by The Mirror.
