Newborn found dead in porta-potty at Electric Forest music festival

The body of a newborn was discovered inside a porta-potty on the campgrounds of a Michigan music festival Sunday morning.

The infant’s body was found in a portable restroom at the Electric Forest festival campgrounds in Rothbury, CBS News reported.

An employee of the restroom vending company made the grim discovery while conducting routine maintenance, Michigan State Police told the outlet.

The four-day music festival is hosted at Double JJ Ranch and features dozens of DJ and EDM acts. The sold-out event began on Thursday and is slated to run until Sunday night.

The exact age of the newborn is not yet known.

There is no known threat to the public, and the incident remains under investigation.

The Michigan State Police did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
