A subway operator was injured Saturday night when a falling tree branch shattered the cab window of a northbound 4 train in the Bronx as it head to Yankee Stadium, partially suspending the line.
The incident occurred around 8:26 p.m. about a quarter-mile south of the 161st Street/Yankee Stadium station, according to the MTA.
The operator sustained “minor injuries,” while none of the 200 passengers on board were hurt.

A rescue train evacuated the passengers to the 149th Street station.
4 train service was suspended between 149th Street and Woodlawn in both directions while transit crews worked to clear the damage, but has been restored since.
