Argentina superstar forward Lionel Messi had his nine-match streak of scoring in the World Cup snapped during his team’s quarterfinal matchup against Switzerland.

And it appeared that the defending World Cup champion’s chances of advancing could be in jeopardy during that game, as they went into extra time after the match was 1-1 through regulation. Ultimately, Messi’s squad rallied and scored two goals in extra time to cement a 3-1 victory, which earned them a semifinal showdown against England.

Messi will surely take another goalless game against England if it means advancing to his third straight World Cup final. He’ll be very active on the field regardless, just as his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, was active during a recent gym session.

Roccuzzo posted a selfie of her after a workout on July 13 to her Instagram story. It was initially posted by the woman alongside her in the photo before Roccuzzo posted it herself.

Messi is currently 39 years old, having celebrated his birthday at the end of June. Roccuzzo is 38 years old, and both halves of the couple still appear to be in great shape as they near their 40s.

Roccuzzo and Messi have known each other since childhood but got married in 2017. They currently have three sons together, all three of whom have been with their mom watching Messi and Argentina play throughout this World Cup.

Messi has nothing else to add to his all-time great resumé, even if he loses against England on Tuesday. He’s also clearly winning off the field.
