Subtle clue that could crack case of tourist who mysteriously vanished in Las Vegas

A beautiful amber-colored citrine pendant worn by Australian Sally Contarino could be the key to finding the missing Las Vegas tourist, her family has said.
Contarino, 26, vanished last month after she missed her flight to Melbourne without any message to her relatives. She was last seen on June 20 leaving a supermarket in Skye Canyon.
Contarino’s sisters, Lauren and Amy, are helping officials search for the missing tourist in Las Vegas.
But no one has been able to find the distinctive necklace that she always wears. The necklace is a citrine pendant on a silver chain from luxury jeweller John Hardy.
Local social media page Real Vegas Locals shared the update on internet forum Web Sleuths on behalf of the family, asking for people to look out for the necklace.
“If Sally was wearing the necklace, someone may have seen it, found it, or come across it without realising its significance,” Real Vegas Locals wrote.
“It may also be worth keeping an eye on online marketplaces such as eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Poshmark and similar sites. Every detail, no matter how small, could be important,” they added.
Her sister, Lauren, bought it for Contarino from a vintage jewelry shop. The necklace is a John Hary Kawung Citrine Sunset Colorway Pendant.
Las Vegas police have no update on Contarino’s whereabouts, according to Australian news agency Nine.com.au
“This remains an ongoing investigation led by the LVMPD missing persons detail,” the spokesperson said.
“Detectives will continue to exhaust every lead but encourage anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact us.”
Contarino was last heard from on June 20, when she told a male friend on Facebook she was going to Lone Mountain for a hike, according to a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police report obtained by 8 News Now.
Investigators said it is not known whether Contarino was with anyone at the time. Police have previously warned she “might possibly be in severe emotional distress and in need of medical assistance.”
Contarino texted her friends on June 19 that she was going on a hike.
“I’m about to hike up Lone Mountain then go home – I fly back tomorrow,” she said. Later that day, she was seen leaving Timbers Bar & Grill at about 10:30 p.m. after using an ATM. Employees there said nothing seemed wrong about her.
Authorities said she was last known near 9700 West Skye Canyon Drive at around 1 p.m. on June 20.
The area in northwest Las Vegas is close to a busy intersection with fast-food restaurants, a gas station, and other businesses.
A creepy video taken a few days before her disappearance showed her standing outside a 7/11.
A man is shown parking his car at the business on Boulder Highway before walking up to a smoking Contarino, wearing a black top and jean shorts.
“I thought you were very beautiful. I was wondering if I could get your number by chance,” the man asks. “I have a boyfriend,” she responds.
He apologizes before asking if she’s waiting for her boyfriend. “No, I’m just gonna have a cigarette and go inside,” she said.
The man acknowledges, and then quickly gets into his car and starts it before the video ends. The influencer had provided the footage to Las Vegas police before he shared it publicly.
Contarino has been missing for more than three weeks.
