Disney World guest, 54, died on iconic ride after suffering heart emergency, new report reveals

A Walt Disney World guest died three months ago after suffering a cardiac arrest while riding one of the park’s most popular attractions, a new report revealed.
A 54-year-old man with a pre-existing heart condition suffered a cardiac emergency on April 2 while riding the It’s a Small World boat ride attraction in Orlando, Fl., according to the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services theme park injury report.
The Magic Kingdom parkgoer was transported to a local hospital and later died.
The death was not publicly reported at the time in April and only came to light when the Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services released their 2nd quarter report on Wednesday.

Since opening in 1971, the Florida theme park has experienced around 70 deaths — with a majority linked to pre-existing conditions and natural causes, according to external estimates and media reports.
The iconic It’s a Small World boat ride attraction at Walt Disney World has been a key fixture within Fantasyland since the park opened.
The 54-year-old’s death in April marks the second parkgoer to die after riding the 10-minute gentle boat ride attraction.
A 22-year-old woman with a pre-existing health condition lost consciousness after riding It’s a Small World in Dececember 2014 and later died, according to the Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services report.
Walt Disney World did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
