Big Brother is officially starting to heat up!

Last night, July 16, the first eviction of the season took place. If you’re new to the Big Brother world, evictions are when the houseguests are eliminated from the show. The Head of House can nominate their fellow contestants for elimination, but they have the ability to save themselves if they win the Power of Veto.

The Power of Veto allows a contestant to remove someone from the elimination block, and the Head of House will have to nominate a replacement. Afterward, the houseguests vote on who to evict from the house.

Big Brother Season 28 has already been a whirlwind, with fans of the series catching unhinged moments between the contestants on the live feed. At the end of the first week, three contestants were up for elimination and one of them became the first contestant evicted from the house. Who go evicted? Read on to find out!

Who Got Evicted From Big Brother Last Night?

Ashley Trail became the first contestant to be evicted this season. She was not initially up for elimination, instead Head of House and Survivor alum Dee Valladares nominated Mallory Aurichio, Yash Patel, and Taylor Brown. However, after Mallory won Power of Veto, Dee had to nominate someone else, and Ashley was put in her place.

It seemed as though Taylor Brown was going to be the first eliminated, but after Ashley spread that theory to the rest of the house, namedropping the one’s who said, she became the target. Feeling like the could not trust her, the vote was unanimous, and Ashley got evicted.

Big Brother: Who is Ashley Trail?

Ashley Trail is a 24 year old bartender from Chicago, Illinois. On the show she was bubbly yet laid back personality, but she did not make any strong connections or alliances. During the first challenge, she was unable to compete for safety after struggling to find a correct power source and secure a spot at the table.
