After a weather-shortened night at the Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater, Phish has a quintet of gigs coming up at ~~The House That Jalen Brunson Built~~ Madison Square Garden.

They’re scheduled to take place:

These five concerts will be their 92nd, 93rd, 94th, 95th and 96th at the Garden, putting them behind just Billy Joel’s 150 (and ahead of luminaries such as Elton John, The Grateful Dead, Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton and The Who).

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets for any one of the five shows was $71 including fees on SeatGeek (that’s for the July 28 concert).

When our team last reported on how much seats cost for these MSG shows on June 18, they were a bit more expensive.

Back then, the lowest price was $101.

Phish new music

On July 12, 2024, Phish dropped their ambitious 16th studio album “Evolve.”

As expected, the band completely surprises. No two songs are alike here; their only connection is the cosmically in-sync ensemble.

Personally, we were most taken with the slinky, bass-y, mysterious “Hey Stranger,” upbeat toe-tapper “A Wave Of Hope” and slow burn “Monsters.”

Be sure to try the restrained Beatles-esque “Valdese,” too. It’s impossible not to crack a smile while listening.
