This week, there are tons of huge new movies on VOD, including the Steven Spielberg blockbuster Disclosure Day, plus The Mandalorian and Grogu, and the newly-rebooted Scary Movie.

Marlon and Shawn Wayans co-wrote Scary Movie, the sixth installment in that film franchise which reunites them with Anna Faris and Regina Hall, who have previously appeared in four of the previous films. This latest features Faris and Hall as best friends Cindy and Brenda, and the parody skewers films like Scream, KPop Demon Hunters, John Wick and, in a very meta way, the Scary Movie series itself.

Grogu, the cutest lil’ Muppet of all time, is one of the title stars of The Mandalorian and Grogu, the latest Star Wars film that arrived into theaters in May to mixed reviews. In the film, Pedro Pascal returns as bounty hunter Din Djarin, who, along with adorable apprentice Grogu, must rescue Rotta The Hutt (Jeremy Allen White), son and heir of Jabba.The movie is available now on digital platforms.

Steven Spielberg’s latest sci-fi epic, Disclosure Day, is an ensemble starring Emily Blunt as a meteorologist and Josh O’Connor as a cybersecurity analyst who work together to expose the existence of extraterrestrial life. Colin Firth plays the government contractor on their trail who is trying to silence them.
