After graduating from high school, Rogers earned a spot to be a Laker Girl for the 2023-24 season. Following two seasons with the Lakers organization, Rogers is exchanging the purple and gold to be one of America’s Sweethearts.

In the NBA circles of cheerleading, being a Laker Girl is the cream of the crop. Jerry Buss saw to that more than four decades ago. But that still pales in comparison to what it means to be a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader.

Rogers, a rookie candidate, wore pink practice outfits to separate from the returning veterans who wear blue. Once rookies officially make the final squad, they trade in their pink for the standard blue gear.

Rogers was named a finalist for the team in June.

Now, she is officially a Cowboys cheerleader a month later.

Her arrival to the NFL began long before auditions in Frisco, Texas. Rogers’ dance journey began at Dance Studio 84 in Santa Clarita. She then spent four years on the West Ranch High School dance team.

She will be joining another storied franchise in what she described as a dream come true.

The DCC will first perform at the Cowboys’ preseason finale game against the New Orleans Saints on Aug. 28 at AT&T Stadium.
