Observations from Saturday’s Giants training camp practice:

Old-school OBJ

The moment that eager fans have been waiting for happened: Odell Beckham Jr. jumped, caught the throw from Jameis Winston in the back of the end zone, tapped his toes and slid to the ground for a touchdown. The stands erupted in cheers and teammates ran down to celebrate. It was vintage Beckham.

Picked apart

Jaxson Dart threw two interceptions — one to Tremaine Edmunds and one tipped by Edmunds and corralled by Paulson Adebo. Dart started 6-of-15 before completing 8-of-9 passes in a hurry-up situational drill facing an 11-point deficit. Winston threw a pick-6 to Colton Hood that was negated by a pre-snap penalty, which prompted Winston to holler “free play.” Dart also fumbled a snap.

Caught my eye

Former Knicks head coach Mike D’Antoni, a West Virginia native who played at Marshall, watched practice and talked with John Harbaugh, general manager Joe Schoen and owner John Mara after practice.

Injury report

Malik Nabers was back in individual drills after Friday’s scheduled day off. RB Cam Skattebo, Beckham and TE Isaiah Likely all were shaking off various issues to take breathers in practice but all returned to the field. CB Art Green and TE Tanner Connor returned to practiced after previous injuries.
