3rd Idaho In-N-Out shooting victim dies — as his wife remains critical after being shot in head

A Utah man is the third victim to die in the mass shooting at an Idaho In-N-Out burger joint over the weekend — and his wife was severely injured, authorities revealed.

Dale Shultz, 66, of Salt Lake City, died from gunshot wounds and his wife, Reinette, remains in the hospital after 24-year-old shooter Chad Williams unleashed a barrage of bullets at the Twin Falls eatery Saturday afternoon.

“Reinette is now facing many surgeries and a long period of physical and emotional recovery,” a GoFundMe page posted Tuesday states.

“The trauma of this event has left her not only with medical bills, but also the overwhelming challenge of mourning Dale’s passing.

“Dale was a beloved member of the family, remembered for his kindness and the love he shared with Reinette. Their lives were changed in an instant,” reads the online fundraiser, which was created to help with the couple’s medical and funeral expenses.

Ashley Garibay, a 23-year-old In-N-Out worker, and Christopher Claunch, 59, were also killed in the shooting, which ended after two armed Good Samaritans shot back at Williams in the restaurant’s parking lot.

The gunman was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after two armed good Samaritans opened fire on him, cops said.
