Aaron Judge cleared for light activity in first positive Yankees rehab sign
August 6, 2026

The speculation around Aaron Judge’s injury status can finally end after the Yankees delivered some positive news.
The three-time AL MVP underwent scans and has been cleared for light activity, including outdoor running and upper-body resistance, Yankees manager Aaron Boone said on Tuesday before a game against the Cardinals in The Bronx.
Judge has been out since May 31 with a stress fracture in his right rib and the Yankees’ offense has been one of the worst in baseball in his absence.
