I’m not the crunchiest mom out there.

Of course, I care about germs and whether my toddler is eating enough vegetables (she usually isn’t), but I’m also a little more laid-back in some areas — ie., the five-second rule doesn’t bother me.

But when I started reading about “forever chemicals,” also known as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, or PFAS, I began getting more concerned about the products in our home.
