Former WWE star Dawn Marie joins OnlyFans at 55 years old
Former ECW and WWE star Dawn Marie officially joined OnlyFans, a subscription-based social media platform where users can sell and/or purchase original content, and she issued a stern warning about nudity in her posts.
The 55-year-old Women’s Wrestling Hall of Famer — who rose to fame during the WWE Divas Era — explained that she won’t get fully nude for her OF, which she began promoting on social media earlier this month.
“Please note only sexy shoots and implied nudity will ever be shown here,” Marie wrote, per The Daily Mail. “No full nudity or overtly sexual/adult content is allowed.
“I’d love to hear from you in [direct messages] so don’t be shy, send me a message! Keep it fun, flirty and respectful.”
Before she launched OF, Marie filmed personal video messages for fans on email.
Marie, who is a New Jersey native, currently makes appearances at wrestling conventions and fan events.
She also sells healing crystals and metaphysical accessories online.
Marie became a nurse in New Jersey after she retired from wrestling in 2012.
Marie began in Extreme Championship Wrestling in 1998 as a valet, a supporting non-wrestling character, for Lance Storm and his tag team partner Justin Credible, and helped the pair to two ECW Tag Team Championships.
After ECW closed, Marie joined WWE in 2001 as Vince McMahon’s legal assistant on SmackDown.
She famously feuded with Torrie Wilson on SmackDown in a storyline where she married Wilson’s real-life father, Al.
Al’s character died from a heart attack after Marie implied that he died from having sex on their honeymoon.
Marie left WWE in 2005 and filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against the company, alleging she was fired because she was pregnant.
It was settled outside of court in 2007 for an undisclosed amount.
Marie isn’t the only athlete who’s cashing in on OnlyFans.
Former NXT stars, Brianna Coda (rings names were Elayna Black and Cora Jade) and Bea Priestley, (formerly Blair Davenport), both joined OnlyFans after they were dropped from WWE’s developmental brand.
Former UFC fighters Paige VanZant, Felice Herrig and Jessica Andrade all explored OnlyFans in recent years.
