Donald Trump wins yet another golf tournament at one of his courses
By golly, he did it again!
Just days after winning the club championship at his own Bedminster golf course, President Trump was back at the top of the score sheet at another of his clubs, Page Six hears.
This week POTUS played in the annual “caddies’ day” tournament at this Westchester club, Trump National Westchester, in which members (or in this case the owner) and caddies team up to play 18.
And darn if he didn’t finish in first place there too!
It’s not clear what the team shot around the 7,300-yard, par-72 Jim Fazio course in Briarcliff Manor, New York.
But we’re told the prez also attended an event honoring the caddies after the round, and he was a big hit with the club luggers after he gave them a $25,000 bonus to be split between the caddying staff.
A caddy shack insider said, “There’s a lot of anti-Trump stuff out there [in the country], but the staff loves him.”
When he won both the senior and super senior age classes at the par 72 Bedminster, New Jersey, contest on Aug. 2, the president posted on social media, “I won with a score of 70, and am so honored in that, unlike the rest of the field, I’m given very little time to practice, because I’m focused on many other things. It’s called TALENT, and I have it, and they don’t!”
The Commander in Chief now claims to have won 40 club championship at his courses.
Reached for comment about the alleged Westchester triumph, White House assistant press secretary Olivia Wales told us, “Fact check: true. President Trump is a winner.”
