‘The Run For A Million’: How To Watch Taylor Sheridan’s Annual Horse-Reining Competition

Hold your horses, folks!

The Run For A Million, Taylor Sheridan‘s annual horse-reigning competition, is making its way to CBS and Paramount+ this weekend.

According to the event’s website, the Run For A Million was created by Sheridan in 2019, and has since been featured in his docuseries, The Last Cowboy.

This year’s competition, which happened in Las Vegas earlier this month, will be documented in Season 7 of The Last Cowboy, which is set to air on CMT later this fall. In the special airing this weekend, which Sheridan is an executive producer on, the Yellowstone creator will also be calling the competition.

As the name implies, the competition will involve its 16 riders “guid[ing] horses through a precise pattern of circles, spins and stops in pursuit of reining’s highest honor – and $1 million prize.”
