County worker in South Florida accused of Nazi salute, shouting ‘Heil Hitler’
(Aug. 22, 2026 / JNS) A Palm Beach County employee driving a county building-services truck allegedly shouted “Heil Hitler” at a Jewish driver and made a Nazi salute, according to the StopAntisemitism NGO.
The alleged incident prompted Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.) to call the conduct “repulsive” and say it “isn’t welcome in Palm Beach County or anywhere.
“I’m sure Palm Beach County gov. is looking into this and if confirmed he will no longer be working there,” Moskowitz wrote on X.
StopAntisemitism called for an immediate investigation and accountability over the alleged encounter.
The allegation has not yet been independently confirmed, and additional details about the alleged encounter, including the identities of those involved, were not immediately available.
The incident comes amid continued concerns over antisemitic incidents and rhetoric targeting Jewish communities in South Florida.
Palm Beach County officials had not immediately responded to a request for comment.
