Kroy Biermann steps out for first time since teen son KJ’s sexual assault arrest

Kroy Biermann was spotted for the first time since his and Kim Zolciak’s eldest son, Kroy “KJ” Jagger Biermann Jr., was arrested on sexual assault charges.
According to photos obtained by Page Six, the former Atlanta Falcons star was seen picking up his 14-year-old son, Kash, from football practice at a fitness facility in Alpharetta, Georgia, on Saturday.
Kroy appeared to be glued to his phone the entire time, looking down at his mobile device as the teen stood next to him in his practice uniform.
The ex-NFL star, 40, looked casual for the outing, wearing a white T-shirt, black jeans and black shoes.
Kroy’s outing came nearly a week after his son KJ, 15, was taken into custody last Monday for aggravated sodomy (a forceful sex act involving the mouth or anus) and aggravated sexual battery.
According to court docs obtained by Page Six, a female classmate accused KJ of assaulting her in the Life Time fitness center in Alpharetta on April 23.
The girl — who was 15 at the time of the alleged assault and described herself as “KJ’s girlfriend’s best friend” — claimed to officials that KJ allegedly forced himself on her despite her saying no while they were in a co-ed sauna.
She claimed in the court docs that KJ attempted “multiple times to have sexual intercourse with her by trying to pull down her pants.”
In the filing, she also accused KJ of forcing oral sex and digitally penetrating her vagina and alleged that when she “finally managed to get away from him … he pulled up his pants and left.”
The court docs stated that KJ was visible in security camera footage at the gym the day in question; however, he did not scan in.
When the teen was examined at the North Fulton hospital in Georgia on April 24, there was no evidence of male DNA in her mouth or vagina, per the police report.
Police have launched an investigation into the alleged incident.
In a statement to Page Six Friday, KJ’s lawyer, Jason Sheffield, claimed that his client is “100% innocent” and that he “tried to present evidence to the arresting officer, including a passed polygraph by a notable and respected sex offender polygrapher.”
The attorney also claimed he has “evidence of other prior false allegations by the alleged victim.”
“Additionally, the officer’s report notes [that investigators] found no male DNA on or inside the areas the alleged victim claimed she was assaulted. The fact that he’s been arrested and is being held without bond is a tragedy,” Sheffield told us.
“He is not only presumed innocent, but is, in fact, innocent. I’m asking the public not to presume the truth of these allegations and to give the families on both sides their space and privacy,” the lawyer’s statement concluded.
In an exclusive statement to Page Six, Zolciak, 48, slammed the “reckless” and “deeply troubling” allegations against her eldest son.
“The allegations being made against my son are nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling. He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged,” the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star’s statement began.
“My son voluntarily took a polygraph examination regarding these allegations and passed. Additionally, an examination was conducted, and no DNA belonging to my son was found,” Zolciak claimed.
“We are also aware that this individual has made similar allegations involving two other people, which raises serious concerns that deserve to be carefully examined.”
KJ is being held without bond and a hearing is scheduled for Sept. 1.
