As with the changing of the leaves, so too has Trader Joe’s restocked their fall favorites.

It’s time to say goodbye to Patio Potato Chips, Beach Day Gummy Candy, Watermelon Lemonade Sparkling Water and other summer staples at Trader Joe’s. As warm weather drifts away, autumn’s cozy vibes are just days away.

To help gear up for the changing season, the popular snack shop did what it knows best — stocked shelves with beloved seasonal treats. Shoppers have already spotted the favorites on store shelves, which means your store could be next.

The iconic grocery chain has just rolled out its Apple Cider Donuts and Pumpkin Spice Mini Sheet Cake — both under $6. The donuts — an autumn essential on the east coast — are made by a family-owned bakery based in western Massachusetts. 

Each hand-rolled cake-style donut comes topped with a heaping of cinnamon and sugar, straight out of the fryer. And its secret ingredient — real apple cider — is what TJ’s claims gives it the “moist, fluffy texture and slightly tangy flavor.”

The box of six will only set you back by $4.99 and is already getting added to carts across states.

An autumnal must-have that’s perfect for dinner parties or scarfing down alone is the $5.99 Pumpkin Spice Mini Sheet Cake. The rotating Mini Sheet Cakes come in a variety of flavors over the year and as the seasons switch, the pumpkin is back.

Every cake is the perfect “smaller format” and comes with a super convenient, reclosable lid to keep the moist cake succulent. TJ’s describes the dessert as a “spongy crumb, flavored by pumpkin purée and warm spices.” 

Fans can taste each spice, which includes cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. The cake is then piped with a finger-licking good layer of cream-cheese frosting.

The popular Instagram account traderjoesobsessed — run by foodie Shannon Fong, posted a picture of the returning cake with the caption “Welcome back yay it’s fall at Trader Joe’s.”

Fans flooded the post with excitement, with one screaming, “This is the best day ever.” Another wrote, “My favorite time of the year!”

Shoppers and employees have taken to Reddit claiming that the stores started peppering fall-flavored items on August 20 and have been dropping in “waves.” One user revealed that all seasonal items should be hitting stores by September 6.

“Last week of August should have a few items like pumpkin cream cheese, pumpkin butter… Around September 6th it should be most items, then every other week they’ll come out with something new until late October/early November when Winter items will take over,” the commenter wrote.
