49ers owner Jed York arrested in prostitution bust

San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York was arrested on suspicion of engaging in prostitution in Ohio over the weekend, per Kron4 News.

York pleaded no contest on Monday after the state of Ohio amended the one count of engaging in prostitution to a disorderly conduct charge.

The 46-year-old from Youngstown, Ohio was arrested Sunday in East Palestine, Ohio and booked into Columbiana County Jail. He was also convicted of possessing criminal tools.

A judge sentenced York to one day in jail per each count.

Per the outlet, he has since paid fines for the disorderly conduct conviction ($150) and for possessing criminal tools ($1,000).

York was named CEO of the franchise in 2008.
