Shocking video shows the dramatic moment police found a missing woman gagged and chained to a bed after her twisted ex allegedly kidnapped and raped her.

Emiliane Tamara Nunes Carvalho, 24, had been bound to the bed for five days inside the grotty residence in Águas Lindas de Goiás, Brazil, when Military Police found her Friday, according to O Globo.

Chilling video obtained by Jam Press shows cops busting down a bedroom door after hearing a woman screaming. Inside, they found Carvalho visibly trembling in fear with a gas mask over her face as she was freed from her ropes and chains, the clip shows.

Carvalho, a nursing technician, vanished on Monday, Aug. 17 after meeting up with her former partner,  Ailton Rodrigues de Souza, to discuss their two children, O Globo reported.

But he instead attacked her and brought her to a hideout where he allegely raped her and tied her up and loaded her up with drugs until her rescue Friday, Aug. 21, according to authorities.

“Inside one of the rooms, the victim was located gagged and with the lower and upper limbs, in addition to the neck, restricted by ropes, handcuffs and chain. She also presented breathing difficulties and signs of lack of oxygenation,” the Military Police said in a statement.

Food and other evidence found in the house suggested de Souza planned to keep her there for several more days.

De Souza was arrested on Friday and charged with kidnapping, rape, and false imprisonment, according to Correio Brazilienese. 

Carvalho was hospitalized and has since been discharged but says she continues to feel pain and dizziness. 

She’s since taken her horror story public in order to raise awareness about domestic violence.

Carvalho ended her relationship with de Souza in December 2025 after the two had been together for five years. 

She said she ignored ample red flags because she was so young when they married.

“I don’t know if it was love, if it was addiction … it was emotional dependence, because I married him at the age of 18. Love is blind, we don’t see it,” she said.
