Malik Nabers sheds red jersey in promising Giants injury sign

Malik Nabers still wasn’t taking full contact, but when he was out on the field, mixed in with defenders, he didn’t have a red jersey on.

And that, in a summer of Giants training camp practices defined by his recovery status, marked another promising sign in his continued return from a torn ACL last season.

When taking a handful of reps throughout 11-on-11s and 7-on-7s, Nabers flashed some of his vintage cuts and route-running ability — another promising sign that he could be ready for Week 1.
