Callous crooks have been filmed stealing jewelry from victims of this week’s historic flash floods in Nepal.

Madan Gurung, 25, and his accomplice Umesh Chaudhary, 38, were arrested Thursday after video of their alleged crime spree went viral.

The woman had been swept down the Narayani River in Wednesday’s flood, which was triggered by a glacier collapse and killed more than 540 people. 

The men used wooden logs to bring the woman’s body to the shoreline before Gurung snatched the earrings from the woman, video released by Nepal police shows.

A witness shared video of the sickening behavior on social media and the authorities arrested the two crooks at a bus station in Bharatpur. It’s unclear if they’ve been charged.

Rameshwar Paudel, the Chitwan police chief, has warned that stealing from dead victims will not be tolerated, local Nepali outlet Khabarhub reported.

Rescue teams continue to search for victims who were swallowed by the torrent that overwhelmed Himalayan villages.

In Nepal, at least 547 people are dead, with more than 460 injured and 977 people still missing.

In China-controlled Tibet, authorities have confirmed three fatalities and revealed 558 are missing.

Fears of a second round of floods had mounted due to the creation of a barrier lake, which had been formed by rock, mud and debris.

But China’s CCTV broadcaster has since reported that concerns are diminishing because the flood risks were thought to be “manageable,” according to CNN.
