‘90 Day Fiancé’: Mido outrageously steals the spotlight from Debby on their wedding day

Mido is not surprisingly all about himself on his wedding day to Debby.

On Sunday’s episode of “90 Day Fiancé,” it’s finally Mido and Debby’s big day as they tie the knot in New Orleans after he moved to Egypt to be with her — and to also pursue his acting career in the US,

But true to Mido’s nature this season, he makes their wedding revolve around him. As they both get ready in their hotel room for their wedding — which will take place at a park across the street — he needs more time to get ready than the bride.

Debby comments to cameras, “Mido is late for everything. He’s always primping. He’s always taking his good old time. It’s our wedding day — it’s not just his day. He’s got to get with the program and get on time.”

Mido takes his time getting ready for his wedding to Debby on Sunday’s episode of “90 Day Fiancé.”
While Mido primps in the mirror, Debby notes that he’s always late and running on his own time.

Debby and her children — son Caden and daughter Devyn — are then left waiting at the park for Mido.

“Normally, it’s the groom waiting at the altar,” Debby says. “With Mido, not so much. We’re always running on Mido time.”

After Mido is 30 minutes late, the officiant starts to get worried and asks where he is. But eventually, he shows up with his own four-person band behind him playing, “When the Saints Go Marching In.”

Mido hams it up as he comes walking in to the park dancing. However, instead of being annoyed, Debby is overjoyed at the “surprise.”

Mido is more than 30 minutes late to his wedding, leaving Debby and her kids as well as their officiant worried.
He eventually shows up with a band behind him, making a grand entrance to their wedding.

“New Orleans is a part of me,” she explains. “Like, I love this city more than any other place I’ve ever been in the world. … So, the fact that he thought to have a brass band, good job.”

The two get married without a hitch, then head to their reception. After taking wedding pics, Mido insists on getting his own solo acting headshots.

“If I’m going to pay for photographer for a wedding, it’s good to my acting career, headshots too,” he explains.

Debby and her kids awkwardly wait for him and Devyn dryly notes, “Wow, Mido took a lot of photographs this evening, so hopefully he’ll be able to go ahead and post some with my mom.”

Mido and Debby do end up tying the knot despite their many fights this season.
Debby is clearly overjoyed to be married to Mido.

Later, the newlyweds anticipate sleeping together for the first time after dating for six years. Mido, 41, and Debby, 55, have not been intimate before now due to his Muslim religion,

Debby admits, “I’m really anxious to have sex with Mdo for the first time because Mido’s a virgin, so I’m going to be the one driving the car.”

“Usually I do let the guy take the lead,” she adds. “So this is a new and very bizarre situation to be at this age and and be taking someone’s virginity.”

Later, the two take professional wedding photos.
But Mido once again hijacks the moment by insisting he take solo pics for his acting headshots.
The two also sleep together for the first time after six years of dating, with Debby admitting she feels “like a kid in a candy shop.”

Still, she’s excited, telling cameras, “I feel like a kid at Christmas.”

For his part, Mido isn’t worried about the milestone, musing, “I think she will be very easy with me. But, I will not be easy with her — no mercy today.”

Debby is clearly more eager for the moment than Mido, but it appears to two did seal the deal as the camera cut away after the two giggled in bed.

“90 Day Fiancé” airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
