The Yankees proved that they could rise to the occasion against one of the hottest teams in baseball, and now they have a chance to take advantage of one of the worst.

The Angels rank second-to-last in MLB in xwOBA and last in Whiff rate, which should be a welcome sign for Rodriguez. The rookie flashed his talent against the Astros, going six innings and allowing three earned runs on three hits with six strikeouts.

If the Bombers can maintain their offensive rhythm and Rodriguez replicates his performance against an even worse team, the Yankees should pick up their first win against the lowly Angels.
