Amal Clooney adds sparkle to her LBD with $375K diamond jewelry at Venice Film Festival 2026
Amal Clooney always brings the bling.
The lawyer put her diamonds on display Wednesday night, opting for a classic black gown as her blank canvas at the Venice Film Festival 2026.
But Amal didn’t hit the red carpet at the “Ink” premiere with husband George Clooney in any regular LBD; The column gown with allover gathered detail and a patent spaghetti strap style was a custom look by Haider Ackermann for Tom Ford.
And she accessorized with stunning Cartier diamond and emerald drop earrings — crafted with 3.7 carats of diamonds and six large emerald beads — that cost a whopping $149,000.
To compliment the earrings, she slipped on a single $225,000 Cartier diamond bracelet, gleaming with 8.29 carats of diamonds.
It was a big night for the pair, as George, looking dapper as ever in a classic tux, was honored with the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement.
“When they tell you that you’re gonna be getting a Lifetime Achievement Award, there are really only two things that come to mind,” George shared when accepting his award.
“The first is that, ‘What an incredible honor this is.’ Then the second is, ‘Do they know something that I don’t? You’ve been talking to my doctors, have you?’”
The pair arrived in Venice ahead of the film festival, with Amal making a chic landing in a silky short suit, again by Haider Ackermann for Tom Ford lok.
The next day, she chose a white slip dress with a fringed hem for dinner with George at the same hotel where they wed almost 12 years ago.
At the end of his acceptance speech, George joked, “We’re going to go find a fun place to have dinner, my wife and I,” he said, “she’s going to be wearing a very nice dress so we’ll have to be careful where we go.”
