After weeks of preseason action, we’re finally on the precipice of a new NFL season.

Unlike previous seasons, the 2026 NFL regular season begins on a Wednesday night as fans are treated to a Super Bowl rematch between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks on NBC and Peacock.

Week 1 will also include the traditional Sunday games on CBS and FOX, as well as the first Sunday Night Football game of the season when the New York Giants host the Dallas Cowboys (8:20 p.m. ET on NBC/Peacock). The first week of the season concludes on Monday, September 14 when the Denver Broncos travel to Kansas City to take on Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs on Monday Night Football (8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN and ABC).
