The truth about whether King Charles has met with Prince Harry since UK return revealed

Prince Harry has indeed spoken directly to his father, King Charles III, since moving to the UK, an insider confirmed to Page Six.

Despite reports claiming otherwise, our source in the know shared that the two chatted within the first week of the Duke of Sussex returning to Britain with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their kids.

Hello! was first to report the news.

Despite the revelation, things seemingly continue to get lost in translation between Harry and Charles.

On Monday, Charles broke his silence on his younger son and daughter-in-law’s move, labeling the couple as “private citizens with commercial and charitable interests.”

Harry and Markle, however, were reportedly not warned about the letter and were left “a little surprised to have not been told about this.”

According to the BBC, Harry was contacted at 3:09 p.m. and told that his team had responded to the monarch’s letter with questions — only for the letter to be sent to the media two minutes later.

In the letter, which was sent to the outlet, the monarch made it clear that the “Spare” author and the actress are still no longer working members of the royal family, following their exit six years ago.

Charles, 77, issued the letter “to help avoid doubt or confusion.”

Additionally, Page Six confirmed that Charles learned of Harry and Markle’s decision to move back to the UK just four days before the bombshell news broke.

The pair, notably, did not tell Charles about their upcoming plans when they reunited at Highgrove House in July.

Even so, sources claimed Charles is excited to spend more time with the Sussexes and their kids, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, as they start their life in the UK.

Last month, we exclusively reported that Harry and Markle’s main motivation to move back to his homeland was to be close to cancer-stricken Charles and build relationships with other royal family members.

“I know that Charles is a big reason for their return,” said a royal insider told us at the time.

The family of four touched down in England on Aug. 26 for their “extended stay.”

The little ones will be attending a posh UK prep school with a $35,000 annual tuition.
