‘RHOSLC’ star Bronwyn Newport divulges brutal ‘final straw’ in Todd Bradley marriage
“Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Bronwyn Newport revealed the “final straw” that ended her marriage with Todd Bradley was when he forgot her 40th birthday.
“I was surprised Todd didn’t do anything for my 40th — no card, no gift, no party,” she admitted during the Season 7 premiere Wednesday.
“It was my first birthday since my dad passed, and that was really, like, the death of it.”
Later in the episode, Bronwyn called Todd forgetting her milestone birthday, which was last September, “the final straw” in their relationship.
“Ultimately, I realized I had been by myself in that marriage for a long time, and I had to get myself out,” she said.
While sitting down with her mother, Muzzy, in the episode, Newport explained she’s been putting off officially filing for divorce because it “still feels very raw for [her],” noting that she’s “scared to death” to be alone.
“I don’t think everybody else understands that there’s a period of time with Todd that I really loved. We’re just not in that period of time anymore.”
Three months after her 40th birthday, Page Six exclusively revealed that the couple separated after nine years of marriage.
At the time, multiple well-placed sources told us the Bravolebrity was the one who wanted out of the marriage and was “looking at a divorce” from the tech exec — who is 26 years her senior.
One month after her failing marriage made headlines, Newport addressed the split herself, revealing that watching back Season 5 of “RHOSLC” was an “eye-opening” experience that made her doubt their marriage.
The reality star told People that after filming for the sixth season wrapped in June 2025, she and Bradley spent a “quiet summer” at home together, mourning the death of her father.
Although he was “really there for [her] and [her] entire family throughout everything,” watching back Season 5, in which they navigated cheating rumors, was a wake-up call.
“It was almost like this magical summer hadn’t happened,” she told the outlet. “We were kind of right back into some of those problems.”
While she admitted that being on reality TV “brought out a weird dynamic” in their relationship, she made it clear that “the cameras didn’t create [their] problems.”
During a Season 6 reunion episode that aired on Jan. 27, Newport echoed Page Six’s previous reporting saying the separation was “my choice.”
Newport and Bradley share no children. She has a 20-year-old daughter named Gwen from a previous relationship, and he has two adult sons from his first marriage.
Newport has previously said that they did not sign a prenup
Although the estranged pair have yet to finalize their divorce, Newport was romantically linked to a 32-year-old male model in February.
A source claimed Newport was dating Brandon Good after the pair were seen out enjoying a date night.
“They’ve been seeing each other for a few weeks,” the insider told People. “It’s new, but they’re enjoying getting to know one another. Bronwyn’s really happy.”
During Wednesday’s episode, however, Newport’s mom voiced her disapproval over the new romance and claimed it was “very awkward for” Gwen.
“She’s very uncomfortable that it became very public,” Muzzy said. “She’s protective.”
