A twisted Utah couple left their innocent baby girl to die in a trash-strewn crib while blasting loud music — and then acted totally unbothered when cops arrived, according to sickening court documents.

Carrie Marie Murray and Mitchell Chestnut Murray, both 32, were sentenced by a judge on Friday to two consecutive terms of one to 15 years for the senseless death of 18-month-old Ruby Marie Murray.

Grim charging documents reveal the depraved pair showed an indifference toward their child’s life, inflicting a pattern of harrowing abuse on the helpless tot, according to the Daily Mail.

The callous Nibley, Cache County, couple copped a guilty plea in July in Utah’s First District Court to child abuse homicide and aggravated child abuse charges stemming from the horrifying March 2025 death.

Carrie, a mother of two, reportedly told investigators she felt it was the infant’s time to die.

“It was her time, I guess,” she offhandedly reckoned, adding that, “I feel guilt really strongly — I feel no guilt over this.”

Disgusted Utah District Judge Spencer Walsh unloaded on the monster parents during sentencing, declaring: “It’s appalling… it’s shocking the type of neglect demonstrated here.”

Deputies at the home found the infant wearing long-sleeved pajamas in a sleep sack with several blankets — despite a space heater that warmed the room to a toasty 77 degrees, according to ABC. 

The crib had several sippy cups and a “large amount of pieces of Egg-style waffle with trash and waffles under the mattress as well.” 

Ruby weighed 17 pounds at the time of her death, according to the Daily Mail.

“Mitchell explained what he termed ‘crib days,’” charging documents obtained by Law & Crime state.

He described crib days as times when Ruby remained in her crib all day while he worked, stating this occurred one to two days per week, though he claimed to check on her periodically.

Ruby was out of her crib for only six hours in her last four days of life, according to Crime Online.

The night before her death, as Ruby cried and gasped for air, Carrie and Mitchell played loud music to drown out the sound.

She was found dead the next morning around 10:30 a.m.

The heartless parents didn’t bother performing life-saving measures when they found Ruby dead — even though Carrie is a trained registered nurse.

The Utah State Medical Examiner’s Office officially ruled the cause of death as dehydration and malnutrition.

The Utah First District Court did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
