Cindy Crawford gushed over Presley Gerber’s close bond with his sister, Kaia Gerber, just months before her son died at the age of 27.

“Nothing makes, I think, a parent prouder than when your kids like each other and love each other,” the model said in a May interview with People.

At the time, Crawford, along with her two children and her husband, Rande Gerber, were collaborating on a partnership with Vuori for the brand’s Spring 2025 campaign.

“It was amazing,” Crawford, 60, told People at the time. “I mean, obviously, we’ve done family pictures before, but being on a real shoot. I think my husband and I just had … first of all, we got to spend a day with our kids, which we love. But it was extra special.”

Crawford also said it was wonderful listening back to what her kids said about her and her husband, 64, during the interview.

“It’s not often that you have that recorded and hear that, hearing what your kids have to say about you,” she gushed. “If it’s good, [it] is so nice.”

As Page Six previously reported, Presley died Sunday at an undisclosed rehab facility in California, per the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.

A cause of death has yet to be revealed.

Prior to his death, Presley and Kaia talked about the addiction battles and mental health struggles he was facing in various interviews and on social media.

Presley wrote via Instagram in March that he had “started finding [his] way back” to himself.

“We shall see. Praying it’s the last time I have to come back [to treatment],” he added at the time. “Next time I’d like to choose.”

In Kaia’s September cover story for Vogue, the actress praised her brother’s transparency, calling him the “greatest teacher” for showing her “there’s only so much you can hide from the world.” 

Kaia also reflected on the impact Presley’s addiction had on their family.

“When something like that happens … it kind of levels everyone,” she explained. “I think that’s also why I started to self-​identify as the easy one and never wanted to ask for help.”

The model contrasted Presley with their parents, who were “very, very private and didn’t share anything … for most of [their] lives.”
