The wrestling world is mourning the loss of star Benjamin Satterly, known as Pac, who died this weekend at the age of 40.

All Elite Wrestling announced Pac’s death Sunday, just a day after he last competed at the All Out pay-per-view event in Chicago.

Tributes have since flooded in for the star wrestler.

Fellow English wrestler and AEW colleague Will Ospreay wrote on X, “The greatest export from our country. Also the greatest human being. Honoured to have shared the ring with you so many times. You truly are such a hero to myself and many others. Forever our BASTARD. RIP Pac.”

“Pac is one of my favorite wrestlers of all time,” Kyle Fletcher shared. “I was lucky enough to meet my hero, work with my hero, but even more lucky to get to know him. He was a better man than I ever could have hoped for. I am heartbroken. I love you, Ben. Rest easy mate.”

“Pac – one of the kindest, most welcoming people in the locker room. Rest in peace,” WWE and ex-AEW star Danhausen wrote.

Nick Wayne, the youngest champion in AEW’s history, remembered an interaction with Satterley after a 2024 match.

“I told him after the match ‘That was very inspiring for someone like me to watch, I hope to one day be as good as you, man.’ He smiled, thanked me and said ‘Awh Nick, you’re gonna be better than me someday,’” Wayne wrote. “For the next 2 years, the conversations, advice and positive thoughts going into things is something I always cherished.”

Satterley’s cause of death has not been confirmed.
