Good news, Reacher fans! Prime Video has renewed the Alan Ritchson-led series for a sixth season. Based on the popular Lee Child novels, Reacher follows the adventures of former U.S. Army military police major Jack Reacher as he travels across the United States, helping those in need and eliminating individuals and organizations with evil intentions.

With the fifth season of Reacher already on the way, the renewal news confirms how much faith Prime Video has in the series’ continued success. “The recent fourth season of Reacher reached 66 million viewers globally in its first 28 days on Prime Video, surpassing Reacher season three performance,” read a press release. “Reacher S4 ranks among the top 5 most-viewed seasons of any original series in the history of the streaming service.”

“Reacher hits hard,” said Peter Friedlander, Head of Global Television, Amazon MGM Studios, in a statement. He added: “Together with our partners at Paramount Television Studios, we couldn’t be more excited to continue this journey. Reacher is a truly iconic series, and we’re thrilled to be on the ride with this extraordinary cast and crew for Season Six.”
