It’s been four months since Taylor Sheridan’s first Yellowstone sequel spin-off, Marshals, aired its Season 1 finale and left viewers on the edge of their seats wondering what happens next. Thankfully, answers are finally coming!

For those who need a refresher, after Kayce (Luke Grimes), Mo (Mo Brings Plenty), Cal (Logan Marshall-Green), Belle (Arielle Kebbel), Cruz (Ash Santos), Miles (Tatanka Means), and even Tate (Brecken Merrill) came together to fight an armed team hired to assassinate Rainwater (Gil Birmingham), Marshals‘ Season 1 finale saw the core characters part ways. Cruz was headed to D.C. for a new job, Belle and Cal were getting shot at, and Kayce was getting closer to Dolly (Ellyn Jameson) while Tate went fishing with her father/Season 2 premiere antagonist Tom Weaver (Chris Mulkey).

Viewers know that Tate was stealthily kidnapped and will likely be used as leverage to force Kayce into selling East Camp to Weaver. But what happens when Kayce finds out?! Marshals Season 2 premiere picks up right where Season 1 left off and swiftly answers that question.

Is There A Marshals Season 2 Trailer?

When Does Dutton Ranch Season 2 Return?

While Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser’s Yellowstone spinoff Dutton Ranch was also officially renewed for Season 2, there’s no official Dutton Ranch Season 2 premiere date on the books yet. That said, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that “production [is] slated to begin early 2027.”

“We’re slated to start early 2027 to film,” Reilly told THR in July. “But the room starts up pretty quick. I think we’re going to be very much involved in the room, so the next sort of six months is all about writing it.”

Assuming production sticks to the predicted timeline, here’s hoping Dutton Ranch Season 2 will premiere in 2027. Stay tuned for more updates!

While there were hopes that the Dutton siblings would team up to save Tate and Carter — both of whom were conveniently kidnapped in Texas in Marshals and Dutton Ranch‘s Season 1 finales — Grimes confirmed that we won’t see Beth and Rip on his show this fall. Based on the Season 2 trailer, it looks like Tate’s rescue will happen fairly quickly, but with Dutton Ranch expected to film Season 2 in 2027, there’s still hope that Kayce could appear on Marshals‘ sister series to help rescue Carter — especially after Grimes’ recent comments about a Dutton sibling reunion. The promising comments came just months after Reilly and Hauser shared their own positive sentiments, so if you’re in line for a Marshals and Dutton Ranch crossover episode, stay in line!
