Carrot Top spotted for first time since hospitalization, suicide attempt

Carrot Top stepped out to attend a church service in his first sighting since his heartbreaking suicide attempt last month.

The comedian — born Scott Christopher Thompson — was photographed walking out of St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Las Vegas on Sunday, according to photos obtained by TMZ.

He dressed up in his Sunday best, wearing a blue collared shirt, jeans and black shoes.

Thompson, 61, grinned while walking among the congregation.

The sighting marked the actor’s first outing since he was released from the hospital following his suicide attempt at his Las Vegas home on Sept. 18.

He was in critical condition when he was found unconscious near his backyard pool after his manager requested a welfare check, per a police report obtained by Page Six.

Thompson’s manager reported that he had spoken to his client on the phone about an article set to be published regarding sexual misconduct allegations.

During the call, Thompson allegedly expressed his concerns and hung up the phone before texting his manager “done” minutes later.

The text led to the manager contacting police.

Thompson was transported to the hospital, where he underwent care until around Sept. 26, when Page Six confirmed he was recovering at home.

Thompson’s suicide attempt occurred as he was in the middle of an ongoing legal battle with former opener Brian Evans.

Evans, who previously worked with Thompson at his Las Vegas residency show at the Luxor Hotel and Casino, allegedly threatened to release a sexually explicit video of Thompson if he wasn’t paid $500,000.

The musician denied the allegations and told Page Six he “never threatened” to post the video in exchange for a settlement.

Evans also claimed that the video was “deleted a long time ago.”

Thompson lawyer also sought protective relief in the legal battle after the suicide attempt.

Thompson remains on hiatus from his long-standing show at the Luxor, which he has been performing at since 2005. It’s unclear when he will return.
