Wynonna Judd ‘lost’ herself navigating daughter Grace’s addiction battle: ‘I can’t save her’

Wynonna Judd said she “lost” herself navigating her daughter Grace Kelley’s addiction battle over the years.

“I became so consumed with worrying about Grace — where she was, if she was safe, if she was alive — that I lost myself,” the country star told AARP.

“I would be packing to go on the road, and I would cry and think I couldn’t leave in case she needed me,” the “No One Else On Earth” singer added.

“I had to learn I can’t save her. Right now, I don’t know where she is.”

When asked what she has learned from the ordeal, Judd, 62, said you always “show up, no matter what.”

“You try to stay present and try to fully engage with your daughter, who you can’t do anything for,” she shared.

Kelley, 30, has had several run-ins with the law since 2015.

In October 2025, she was arrested and cited for driving with a suspended or revoked license.

In June, Kelley pleaded guilty to the driving offense stemming from her 2025 arrest and was sentenced to 15 months in prison at the Rockingham County Jail in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

The following month, Kelley’s legal team requested that she receive a temporary release so she could give birth to her second child via C-section this past August.

However, a judge denied the temporary furlough and ordered that Kelley remain in custody and be escorted by the sheriff’s office to the hospital for the delivery.

In a recent interview with People, Judd revealed she found out about her estranged daughter’s second pregnancy via TikTok.

“I don’t know anything,” the “She Is His Only Need” songstress told the outlet. “I’m heartbroken, and she cut me off a year ago. I’m walking a very interesting walk right now, where I absolutely know very little. As a matter of fact, I learned about it on TikTok.”

Judd, who shares Kelley and son Elijah, 31, with ex-husband Arch Kelley III, has adopted her daugther’s first child, Kaliyah, who was born in 2022.
