Aspiring chef Brooklyn Beckham brutally trolled for cooking ‘burnt’ spaghetti: ‘That looks dreadful’
Brooklyn Beckham is once again under fire for a dish he whipped up on Instagram.
On Saturday, the 27-year-old hot sauce entrepreneur shared a video of himself making spaghetti all’assassina, a pasta that doesn’t have to be boiled and has a crispy, charred texture.
In the clip, Beckham used tomato paste, Rao’s tomato sauce, store-bought stock and pre-peeled garlic. He cooked the raw pasta in the mixture until the noodles became limp.
Fans took to Beckham’s comment section, sharing their thoughts on the dish.
“Basically burnt pasta with jar sauce 😮,” complained one follower, while another wrote, “This looks… in a word – vile. It’s not even cooked properly 😂.”
“A tube of paste, a jar of sauce, ready prepped garlic….. that’s not real cooking oh and the spaghetti looks half cooked. No thanks,” noted a third, while a fourth chimed in, succinctly writing, “That looks dreadful. 😐.”
However, not everyone was negative about Beckham’s culinary skills.
“Those who don’t know, spaghetti all’ assessina [sic] is a typical plate in Plugia region of Italy, and this is a quite good representation of the recipe. So calm down everyone, it’s delicious 😋,” wrote one fan.
The former photographer didn’t take the criticism lying down, posting a picture of David Schwimmer as Ross from “Friends,” doing his version of giving the finger, by bumping his fists together.
Beckham has caused consternation about his cooking skills on social media several times.
In August, he horrified some netizens by cooking pasta with seawater.
“Is this ragebait?” asked one follower.
Earlier this month, Beckham was in Paris with his wife, Nicola Peltz, 31.
The couple was spotted smooching in the street on the same night that Brooklyn’s mother, Victoria Beckham, presented her spring/summer 2027 ready-to-wear collection during Paris Fashion Week.
In January, the nepo baby confirmed long-whispered rumors that he was estranged from his family by posting an explosive rant on social media.
He accused his parents, Victoria and David Beckham, of trying to control him and attempting to ruin his wedding to Peltz.
“I do not want to reconcile with my family,” he wrote. “I’m not being controlled; I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.”
