LANDOVER, Md. — Jameis Winston was on the brink of a heroic comeback win.

Rookie kicker Dominic Zvada was waiting for his chance at redemption after having missed three long field goals.

John Harbaugh wanted to run the ball twice and run out the clock at the same time in overtime. Harbaugh referenced Tyler Loop’s missed 44-yard FG against the Steelers that led to him becoming the Giants HC.

“That field goal’s very makeable, but it’s not a gimme … none of ’em are, but that’s not a gimme. I’ve had some experience with that,” he said.
