Blakeman skewers Hochul for past remark on black Bronx kids not knowing what computers are during NY gov debate

Bruce Blakeman hit Gov. Hochul on her past remarks when she charged that black Bronx kids don’t even know what computers are.

Blakeman snapped when Hochul accused him of paling around with white supremacists.

“I never went around with white supremacists; I’m offended by that. Let’s talk about your record,” he continued.

“What did you see about black kids in the Bronx? You know what? That was reprehensible.”

Hochul had made the shocking public statements back in 2024.

Hochul made the statements during a conference back in 2024.

“Right now we have you know young Black kids growing up in the Bronx who don’t even know what the word computer is, they they don’t know, they don’t know these things,” she said.

She had to quickly walk back the statement, saying she “misspoke.”

Blakeman launched a digital ad on the statements after he opened a campaign office in the Bronx.
