Kirk Cousins’ wife Julie gets real about life in Las Vegas with two sons
Las Vegas isn’t known for being a safe haven for families.
But those who have spent time in Sin City know that it’s a lot more family-friendly than that nickname (and the reputation that comes with it) suggests.
Julie Cousins, wife of Raiders starting quarterback Kirk Cousins, certainly has no complaints about Las Vegas.
She made a rare Instagram post over the weekend that shared several photos from the past few months, all of which make it clear she and Kirk’s two sons, Cooper and Turner, have acclimated well to Las Vegas.
“First two months in Nevada… thriving in the desert!” the post was captioned.
Cousins also acclimated on the field quickly, as he led the Raiders to a 3-0 record and looked like one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks during the season’s first three weeks.
But Cousins and his Raiders squad have come back to earth in the past two weeks. They lost to the Chiefs at home and then lost to the Patriots on the road last weekend.
Cousins played well during these two defeats, averaging 304 passing yards per game along with three passing touchdowns and one interception.
Cousins is signed with the Raiders through this season. But given how both sides seem content with this pairing, it’s easy to imagine the Cousins family remaining in Las Vegas for longer.
