Patriots expected to activate A.J. Brown for Jets clash after ankle injury

The Patriots will likely have one of their most important offensive weapons back to face the Jets.

The team is expected to activate star receiver A.J. Brown from injured reserve for Sunday’s clash at Gillette Stadium, according to multiple reports.

Brown, who was brought over in a trade from the Eagles in the offseason, returned to practice this week after suffering a high ankle sprain in the team’s opener.
