Father’s execution of two sons leaves LA family shattered — as his disturbing social media posts come to light

A Los Angeles father’s brutal execution of his two young sons has left a family in deep mourning — as his past social media posts revealed a dark side.

Adolfo Gramajo, 35, allegedly shot both of his boys in the head in broad daylight in Koreatown this week before turning the gun on himself. He survived and remains in the hospital.

The family of the two boys, Jimmy Gramajo, 4, and Osmani Gramajo, 11, has been torn apart by their loss, holding several memorial events to mourn the young children.

“I would’ve wanted this to be a birthday party for my nephews,” the boy’s aunt said. Facebook/marilsa.bonilla.73

“They’re my sister’s kids and this moment she’s going through hurts my soul,” Marilsa Bonilla told LA Local.

“I would’ve wanted this to be a birthday party for my nephews with gifts and laughs, and although it’s the exact opposite, I’m still grateful for the community that came to support,” she said of the memorial.

Bonilla, the sister of the children’s mother, Edilma Bonilla De Leon, said she appreciated the outpouring of support.

“There are so many people that came here today that we don’t know, but that have felt moved by the story of the children,” Marilsa Bonilla said. “We don’t have the words or know how to return so much kindness… we hope to God that the example of these little ones will motivate other parents to give more love to their children and preserve life because it is precious.”

It’s unclear why Gramajo decided to allegedly murder both of his sons. He reportedly took both of them to dine at a nearby McDonald’s during what was supposed to be a custody visit before the alleged murders.

He previously assured the children’s mother that they would be at his parents’ house.

The father had exhibited disturbing behavior on his Facebook account, where he also posted pictures of his kids. He said he was originally from Algarrobo, Spain, in the country’s Malaga province.

His Facebook bio suggested he had nothing else to live for except his family.

“Usually nothing makes me happy anymore; I’m still alive because my family needs me to survive…,” an English translation of his bio says.

A post from December 2018 was even more ominous.

“Don’t judge me cause I am quiet, no one plans a murder out loud,” an English translation of the post read.

The family has launched a GoFundMe for the boys’ memorial expenses and for the mother’s immediate expenses while she is unable to work.

Andrew Conroy, principal at Virgil Middle School, shared a heartbreaking detail about one of the boys with LA Local.

He said Osmani always came to school early and always had a smile on his face.

Gramajo has been charged with the death of the boys with a special-circumstance allegation of multiple murders, according to MyNewsLA.

The California Post contacted the boys’ family for comment.
