Los Angeles Lakers late legend Kobe Bryant’s daughter, Natalia, walked the runway at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Sunday.

Natalia was there with her mother, Vanessa, who made many social media posts showing her and Kobe’s daughter their support.

One specific social media post before Vanessa made from before the show began contained a heartfelt tribute to her late husband and their other daughter, Gianna (aka Gigi), who passed away with Kobe in 2020.

“Right before I exited the car, Moonlight Sonata started playing. Always with us. Kobe & Gigi. Sweet Signs. ❤️❤️,” Vanessa’s Instagram story was captioned. It showed her car’s radio playing Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata” song.

“Moonlight Sonata” has a very special significance in Kobe and Vanessa’s relationship. Kobe taught himself the first movement of the song by ear while he was away from his wife and two daughters.

Rob Pelinka (the Lakers’ GM who was formerly Kobe’s agent) during Kobe and Gianna’s memorial service said Kobe did this because he wanted to “live in his love” for Vanessa while the two couldn’t be physically together.

Alicia Keys also played “Moonlight Sonata” during that memorial, which was an emotional moment for all who were in attendance.

Vanessa’s post suggests that both Kobe and Gianna were with her and Natalia in spirit before what was the biggest moment of Natalia’s professional life.
