The burning questions facing Yankees — and their leadership — this offseason

The Yankees are getting the band back together, but the questions around Aaron Boone and Brian Cashman are only getting louder.

After another disappointing playoff exit, Boone is coming back for a 10th season as manager next year, with Cashman also expected to return for his 30th season as general manager on a new contract.

In the two weeks since the Yankees were swept in the ALDS by the AL East champion Rays, who are in the World Series, they have taken plenty of heat — including from former players like CC Sabathia and Anthony Rizzo, and former manager Joe Girardi — for not being able to get over the hump in October.

But what will change if the leadership does not?
