This is Angel Reese’s moment

Angel Reese sent LSU coach Kim Mulkey jumping out of her seat on more than one occasion Wednesday night.

In one moment, Reese dribbled past every Valkyries player, parting the violet sea on the way to the basket. She scored a layup, which Mulkey celebrated by emphatically punching the air like it stole her lunch money.

After the Dream’s 97-71 blowout win in Game 3 of the WNBA Finals, Reese shared a brief moment with her college coach. They wrapped their arms around one another, and Mulkey appeared to say something.

“Her words, I can’t share,” Reese said. “But she just kept telling me to just go get it, go get it, don’t stop and just two more. I won a championship with her and I remember how that felt, and being able to do it again with this group is going to feel even more special.”
