Ariana Grande is taking a break from the spotlight — and so is her famous ponytail

After announcing that she would be stepping back from the spotlight — at least for a time — Ariana Grande is switching up her signature look as well.

Grande took to Instagram to show off her brand-new bob haircut Thursday.

Her caption only reads “♡,” and images includes four selfies with one finger to her lips, the ends of her hair flipped up at chin height.

The new ‘do is the work of celebrity hairstylist Brandon Pietsch, who also shared Grande’s latest look, writing, “The ponytail is taking a hiatus.”

Grande has gone through many a hair transformation, but her high pony has, of course, long been her signature style.

Most recently, she dyed her post-“Wicked” bleach blond hair a deep, more natural, shade of brown and she showed off her natural curls earlier this year.

Grande’s newest film, “Focker-in-Law,” is set to be released on November 25, but the multi-hyphenate has since announced an “extensive break” from public life.

Back in August, a rep for Grande announced that she would be “stepping back from public-facing work” after her “Eternal Sunshine” tour concluded on September 1. The announcement was made amid “endless, ongoing scrutiny” surrounding the 33-year-old.

She also pulled out of the planned West End production of “Sundays in the Park with George,” that she was set to begin in the spring alongside “Wicked” co-star and friend Jonathan Bailey.
