As the world of streaming continues to expand, it seems like there are more options than ever for how you can tune in to watch your local teams.

For the NBA season alone, there’s NBC, ESPN, Prime Video and ABC — and each team’s regional broadcaster. If you’re a cord-cutter, it starts to add up quickly, especially if you want to sit down to watch every game.

Beginning this season, 11 NBA teams and 6 NHL teams are offering new monthly subscriptions to watch local games through DAZN.

I know what you’re thinking, another streaming service?! Yes, but this one has some perks, while staying relatively affordable (compared to the cost of a live TV streaming service).

Here’s what you need to know.

What is DAZN?

DAZN (pronounced “da-zone”) is a sports streaming service that is considered, among other things, the global home of boxing. With a subscription, you can also watch international soccer, MMA and more.

Beginning this NBA and NHL season, DAZN is also offering standalone subscriptions to 19 different teams across the NBA, NHL, WNBA and MLB for subscribers in local markets.

What Can I Stream on DAZN?

In addition to combat sports, FIBA basketball, La Liga, Bundesliga and the FIFA Club World Cup, DAZN offers streaming packages tailored to subscribers living in certain American cities that allows them to stream their local NBA or NHL teams, meaning all of their local (not nationally televised) games will stream via DAZN. At this time, here are the 19 teams with packages available on DAZN:

NBA:

NHL:

MLB:

WNBA:

What Is DAZN Subscription Price?

In most cases, DAZN offers two subscription prices for individual team packages: Standard at $19.99/month and Ultimate at $24.99/month. Standard includes local games live and on-demand wiith two streams at once. Upgrading to Ultimate will unlock discounts at your team’s online store, multiview, alternate angles and five streams at once.

The only ones that have a different pricing structure are MSG+, YES and Monumental+.

MSG+ is $29.99/month (after one month at $19.99) and YES is $19.99/month (after one month at $14.99). DAZN also offers a Gotham Bundle which combines MSG+ and YES for $34.99/month (after one month at $29.99)

Monumental+ is either $19.99/month or $179.99/year.

Does DAZN Have A Free Trial?

Yes, most DAZN plans include a seven-day free trial. MSG+, YES and Monumental+ are the only add-ons that do not come with a free trial.
