Kentucky woman busted for allegedly committing incest, sodomizing minor
A Kentucky woman was arrested Thursday on charges of sodomy and incest allegedly involving a minor, court papers showed.
Lauren Winans is accused of sexually abusing and sodomizing a victim younger than 12 sometime between Jan. 1, 2022 and Nov. 20, 2022, according to an indictment returned in Nelson County by a grand jury on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old Bardstown woman, “committed the offense of sodomy in the first degree by engaging in deviate sexual intercourse with C.G.W., a person less than twelve years of age,” the indictment alleged.
The victim in three of the counts was referred to as C.G.W. in the court papers.
Winans is also accused of having sex with a family member who is younger than 12, according to the indictment.
Winans “committed the offense of incest when she had sexual intercourse or deviate sexual intercourse with a person whom she knew to be an ancestor who was less than twelve years of age.”

It was not clear whether the underage family member was the same victim mentioned in the other three charges Winans is facing. It also wasn’t clear how they were related.
Winans has not yet posted the $250,000 bail she is being held on, Nelson County Jailer Justin Hall confirmed to The Post.
She faces up to life in prison if convicted on the top count of first-degree sodomy.
Winans is set to be arraigned on Nov. 5. It was not immediately known who her lawyer is.
