The ancient among you will remember a game show from your youth that the Madman always enjoyed: “Press Your Luck!” 

If you know anything about “Press Your Luck!” you know plenty about the Whammies. Those were the gremlins that ate all your money if your spin landed on the wrong square. 

(This is not to be confused with sports anchor Champ Kind’s catchphrase “Whammy!” of “Anchorman” fame.)
